Hello! I will write about tabletop RPG stuff here, I hope!
Here are some principles I will try to hold myself to (though I'll fail on occasion, no doubt) when writing:
- Believe people's accounts of how they experience the game, and take their perspectives into consideration as much as my own when trying to make sense of the broader TTRPG practice
- Be clear that I'm making observations about the how these games are played, not prescriptive demands or judgements on preferences
- Advocate for my own preferences of play as a manner of helping others see ways of enjoying the hobby that they may or may not share
- Try to cut through the jargon with good examples whenever possible - with a preference for real-life ones
